Connecting a young person with the right home starts with the right fit.
Bloom accepts referrals for adolescent girls ages 14–18 who may benefit from the structure, support, and therapeutic environment of specialized foster care.
Placements into Bloom’s specialized foster care program are coordinated and authorized through the Nevada Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS). Case managers, child welfare professionals, probation partners, and other community providers are welcome to contact Bloom to discuss a potential referral. We can help coordinate with DCFS as appropriate.
Once a referral is received through the appropriate placement process, Bloom reviews the young person’s needs, strengths, safety considerations, clinical needs, and compatibility with the home. When possible, we want the young person to have an opportunity to learn about Bloom as well.
